GIRLS thINC Outside the Box is an activity box based program designed to bring the Girls Inc. experience home! The program is designed specifically for 6-10 year old girls and youth. Each themed box is mailed straight to the youth’s doorstep and contains:
- 5+ hours worth of hands-on science, art, and self-discovery activities (all materials and instructions included!)
- an elementary level reading book
- a youth-friendly magazine highlighting female leaders
- an invitation to a Zoom party to connect with other youth who received a box
Boxes are currently offered in Spanish and English to anyone with an Oregon or Washington mailing address. The program is offered on a sliding scale so that families can choose to pay what they can, or can choose to not pay anything at all. You can read more and register on their website here.
