| On February 4, 2019, the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Children’s Bureau issued its National Model Foster Family Home Licensing Standards. The document below details the final model standards and summaries from ACF:ACYF-CB-IM-19-01.pdf In response to the final model standards announcement, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) Licensing Division will conduct a crosswalk of our existing licensing standards compared to the final national standards. DCYF will hold a webinar in March for community partners and stakeholders to inform them of any proposed WAC changes to ensure compliance with the national standards.
