Caregiver Communication Guide from DCYF

Caregiver Communication Guide from DCYF

DCYF has updated their guide for caregivers on how to escalate questions or problems with the department, from the first step of calling your caseworker up through their supervisor, the chain of administrators, and finally the Office of the Ombudsman.

In particular, if you’re wondering how long you’re supposed to wait before calling a supervisor, they request that you wait up to 48 business hours, or 6 business days, before escalating.
