Treehouse has been contracted by DCYF to distribute approximately $1.65 million in federal Chafee COVID relief funding to alumni of foster care between the ages of 23 and 26. Eligible young adults must have been in out of home placement for 30 days or more after their 15th birthday. Direct cash payments of $1,000 will be made directly to young people between 7/26/2021 and 9/30/2021.
DCYF estimates that there are approximately 2,800 eligible young adults. We need your help to spread the word, find eligible young adults, and encourage them to apply!
