Coding Opportunity

edit: Many Lights Foundation closed in 2020.

Many Lights Foundation is offering a free coding workshop and we hope you can help spread the word. (You can learn more about us at manylights.org.)
LEARN TO CODE is a workshop for young people ages 12 to 16 who have foster, adoptive, or relative families. The kids who attend will learn how to code their own program with the guidance of experts. They will leave having learned the basics of software programming. They’ll also leave with a special surprise that will enable continued learning and success long after the workshop ends.
LEARN TO CODE will take place on April 27, 2019. Parents can get all the details and register at Eventbrite.
Please share this news with foster, adoptive or relative families and think about young people you know who may be interested.

The workshop is FREE and limited to 15 students. Spaces are likely to fill up fast so please pass this along today.
