DCYF covid-19 hotline closing; DCYF releases new funding to childcare

Effective October 1, 2020, the foster and group care COVID-19 hotlines will be discontinued.

If you have any questions or need to report a positive test in your home or facility, please contact your assigned licensor during regular business hours and central intake (866-363-4276) afterhours.

Note: as a foster parent, you should have received an email from DCYF with the hotline news.



Additional covid-19 relief funds for child care stabilization – a message from Secretary Ross Hunter:

This week Governor Inslee announced Phase II of Washington’s child care pandemic support investments. … The new investments include caps on co-pays to enable more families to afford care, grants to providers, and funding for the extra costs of full day instead of part day care when schools are operating remotely.
