DCYF CPR and First Aid Update for Caregivers

The contract for First Aid-CPR training through the Alliance will end on June 30, 2023.

To comply with WAC 110-148-1375, foster parents planning to renew their license, applicants, other caregivers, and prospective caregivers over the age of 18 who are planning on becoming licensed must:

  • Complete training through the Alliance before June 30, 2023, or
  • Self-pay for CPR/First Aid after June 30, 2023 and submit reimbursement to their assigned Licensing Division worker once the license is issued, and
  • Find classes and training in their area, please visit American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or check with the local fire station.
