Students who receive the Passport to Careers Scholarship are eligible to apply for Passport Scholar Success Funding. This is not new (formerly known as the Barrier Removal Grant) but it is a resource that people may need right now.
This grant provides emergency funds for Passport Scholarship students. These funds are flexible and can pay for variety of expenses that support the retention of Passport students. CSF has been awarding/paying for rent, gift cards for food/groceries, and utility/phone bills with the funds. Award amounts are dependent on the scholar’s unique circumstance and need, but typically range from $50 – $1,000.
