In the world of humans, the story in our head guides us through our life. Sometimes life presents challenges that we can call “Trouble”. By stepping back and taking an externalized view of “Trouble”, we can create a description of the challenge as a thing. Then we can create a plan to deal with it. We can look at what gives this thing power, and what other things cooperate with “Trouble.”

In this class attendees will have a chance to create a rough sketch of “Trouble” and discuss how to take power away from the problem. We will have the opportunity to discuss what skills that can be developed to build a child’s self-efficacy and help a child see themselves as the author of their own story.
