The newly increased basic foster care maintenance rates go into effect on July 1, 2020
Basic rate increase will look like this:
Age 0-5: $562 goes to $672
Age 6-11: $683 goes to $796
Age 12-20: $703 goes to $810
All other rates are defined as the basic rate + an additional amount. There is no change to the additional amounts, but all carers will receive the basic rate increase.
