Grandfamilies and COVID-19 Survey

Grandfamilies and COVID-19 Survey

Learning How to Best Support Grandparents and Other Relatives Raising Children During COVID-19

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 public health crisis, Grandfamilies Outcome Workgroup (GrOW) members and partners have been learning about the impact of this pandemic for kinship families. GrOW is not a Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) organization, but we are working to ensure that our kinship caregiver voices are included among the collected feedback. GrOW is constructing a comprehensive data story of the needs and resiliency experienced by kinship caregivers and multi-generational families across the U.S. They are collecting this information via an online survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PQK2HSH.

The survey closes June 15 and GrOW will share the information they learn to inform how we can better support your work as a relative caregiver to children. Please reach out to a[email protected] if you would like any additional information or if you are interested in participating in more opportunities to share your story.
