Kinship Caregiver Support pilot program

Kinship Caregiver Support pilot program

Family Education and Support Services is working jointly on a Kinship Caregiver Pilot program with the University of Washington and ALTSA. This Pilot will provide evidenced based research illuminating the needs of Kinship Care Providers. The results of this Pilot will mean additional revenue in the future for Kinship Care Providers inside and outside the DCYF system.

The program is now able to include Kinship Care providers who are licensed with DCYF, and is open to participants from both Thurston and Mason Counties. This program is voluntary but offers a wide range of resources and support to Kinship Caregivers.

To join the program or learn more, contact Anatha Atthar ([email protected]). If you know other licensed kinship care providers in these counties, please pass on this information!
