New helpline program for Covid – WA Listens

Washington state now has a statewide support program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are support specialists trained, staffing the support line and beginning to do community based outreach to tell people they exist.

Some additional things to note about the program:

  • The support line and program is for any Washington State resident,- including front line workers, family and friend
  • The program is anonymous and is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • It is to help reduce call volume from crisis lines, provide emotional support, build resilience, and links to community resources
  • The program is a standalone program with its own branding and logo, not associated directly with any one state agency/organization
