The National Foster Parent Association’s Youth and Continuing Education Scholarship Funds were established to benefit foster, adoptive, and birth children of NFPA members. One scholarship each year is designated the Gordon Evans Scholarship in memory of a man who gave so much of himself to NFPA and the many children he fostered, as well as the untold numbers of people whose lives he affected. Up to six scholarships of $500 each are awarded annually.
Scholarships may be awarded to current foster, biological, or adopted children of an NFPA member.
Applications open on February 12, 2021, and close on April 4, 2021.
Scholarship awards are granted for post-secondary education, including college/university, vocational, or job training.
