Fostering Media Connections produces news and media covering child welfare across America. Their Youth Voice program aims to inspire current and former foster youth to tell their stories through various creative styles, and a strong emphasis on journalism.
They currently have an open (remote) position for 1-2 current or former foster youth in Washington to work as a Youth Voice Contributor and receive a $2,000 stipend! This is an opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who wants to make an impact while building their resume and gaining a broad set of experiences relevant to nonprofit journalism and media.
