Scholarship Information

pplications for our scholarship and mentoring program at ISF (International Student Foundation) are now available for the 2019-2020 school year.

We are looking for bright, enthusiastic youth that are attending a full time undergraduate education program next year, to apply for our assistance.  Please note that we serve youth that have aged out of foster care or were orphaned as children.  ISF has a wonderful track record of working with our students, supporting them both financially as well as emotionally.  We pair each student with a personal adult mentor that they can meet with regularly over the phone.  This personal interaction and support has yielded some wonderful relationships and has helped our students develop their leadership and life coping skills.  It is an element of our program that makes us unique.  

We also provide leadership skill training.  Last summer we brought many of students and mentors into Dallas TX for a 4 day Leadership and Life Skills Retreat.  Several of our students have also been able to benefit from a 5-day cultural immersion experience visiting and helping orphaned children in Guatemala.  This trip was made possible through the guidance and support of our partnership with the good folks at Orphan Outreach.  We plan to do more and similar trips in the coming years for the students in our program.
